A Fairy Costume Was All She Talked About
This halloween our little girl insists that she has a fairy outfit to go trick or treating in. She has this thing for fairies. But she didn’t know for sure which kind of fairy she wanted to be. After checking out some of the fairy costume ideas she seemed even more unsure of which to pick. We saw a couple of costumes, including a princess one, but she wants to keep searching. She also looked at a gothic fairy costume and a woodland fairy costume. Then, we started looking at a few of the halloween fairy costume accessories, like wands and an adorable fairy choker. They had the headpieces for some of the fairy costumes, along with wings and more.
We have another little girl that we had to buy a costume for. There was a fairy costume that was a tulip and would really be adorable for her. There were really a couple of costumes that would be perfect for her. There was the tulip pink fairy costume and the sugar plum purple fairy costume. They were the perfect size for our toddler daughter. We should all wear fairy halloween costumes, according to our daughter. I told her that I didn’t think Daddy would make a very good fairy and I wasn’t sure if we could all be one. I’m sure her Daddy wouldn’t go for the idea. But it is a cute idea.
When I told my husband what our daughter suggested, we both had a good laugh. I told our daughter that there are only girl faires. But she let me know right away, that according to her movie there are boy fairies. How could I top that statement? I just tried to get her mind off the idea and get her back into looking for her costume. We checked out princess costumes and other fairy halloween outfits looking for the perfect one. There was a lot of them to look through. She did find one she thought would be perfect for me. She said since I was a mommy anyway, I should wear a fairy godmother costume. I promised to think it over and agreed with her that it would be a great costume for mommy.
After she took care of mommy and her little sister, we went back to her costume searching. Finally she spotted the one she wanted. She chose to wear a snowflake fairy costume. I have to admit, it was a beautiful little costume. It was the perfect costume for a little winter fairy, just as white as snow. The search had ended. Now it was time to find the accessories that she would need for it. We picked out the perfect wand and beautiful snowflake fairy wings. We also picked out a snowflake fairy tiara to go with the outfit. She already had the white tights and shoes she needed to go with it. Costume, accessories and everything our snowflake fairy needed was taken care of. So was our toddler. She is going to be the little tulip fairy.
We did pretty good as far as getting all the decorations and props we needed. My husband is having a blast setting everything up for the holiday. Our little snowflake fairy is having fun helping her Dad decorate everything. She is anxiously awaiting halloween this year. We all had to put on our costumes for her as soon as they got here. Her baby sister made an adorable little tulip fairy and her snowflake costume was absolutely beautiful. I chose the fairy godmother costume to wear for our daughter. Dad, who refused to be a part of the fairy family, is now going to be the tooth fairy.
