How To Receive Full Amount Of Child Support And Money Owed Through Our Divorce Settlement?
My ex owes me money from a divorce settlement and hasn’t paid me a dime. He also owes back child support and current child support but because he has another child from another relationship, the state of Indiana can not take out more than half of what he makes. What should I do to enforce him to pay the full amount of child support and the settlement from the divorce. Again if I take him to court what can I expect. His wages are already garnished and can’t be garnished anymore. Any suggestions?

get off your fat *** and get a job and stop trying to take his earned money i don’t know the circumstances of the divorce or relationship but it sounds to me that all you give a **** about is him giving you as much money as possible.
Has nothing to do with Indiana or the other child. It the federal limit they have to abide by. No one would have told you anything otherwise. Been on the books since 1989.
If you’re not getting you standard monthly amount, and he’s getting 50% deducted, than how much he earns was over stated to the court. This generally happens when a temporary restraining order has been filed and he doesn’t respond because of the belief that he’s going to get hosed anyway. Which he apparent did.
He needs to file a modification on the amount he pays. This will not affect the arrearage and they will still deduct 50% until the arrearage is caught up, plus interest penalties the state collects for themselves.
By the way, you do know that many states take up to a 15% processing fee?
Wow Dazz is bitter!! LOL!! Any way, yea they can only take half. He needs to pay you what is owed. I am sure that you are working but if he hasn’t paid a dime then it’s obvious that he is a dead-beat. Still laughing at Dazz……….funny. Bitter!!
Sounds like you should be searching for a job!! oh i’m sure you would like every dime of his money. Eventually, he will probably quit his job leaving you with nothing. Greed gets you nowhere fast!!
they can order him to get a 2nd job
