It may work. But it may not. Wait and see if your period is late. If it is, take a test.

They have a Pregnancy Test out I just saw on TV that can tell you if your pregnant 5 days BEFORE your missed period. I can't remember what it was called, but just go to your local pharmacy and Look on the Box. If I were you I would just wait until it is time for your period and go from there, if you miss it take a test if not you didn't waste the money for one.

If you use one of those Early Response ones, they SOMETIMES show a true positive and you can take them up to 5 days BEFORE your missed period. However, the best is to just wait until after you miss your period, but if you can't wait, get one of those. They are way more expensive though, and if you do get a negative, you're gonna wanna take another one just to be sure a week later.
Good luck!

Early Responce tests can detect the pregnancy hormone up to 5 days before your missed period. For any other test, it's best to wait until you've missed a period. You do not have to wait 7+ days. The day after you miss is fine.
Remember, for best results, test using your first morning urine. HCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are highest after "holding it" all night.

I would wait until you have missed your period, because the results will be more accurate. If you do end up being pregnant, don't panic! If you do need any support if you are in that position, I would be happy to talk to you because I have been in that position myself. I was scared but came through it and I had a beautiful little girl who I love so much. She was not planned, but is such a blessing.
Let me know how it goes, and if you need to talk!
