How Do I Keep The Cold Corporate Company We Work For From Ruining Our Family Like Project?
The group I work with works in a seperate building from the rest of our company and even from the corporate company that owns all of it. We are a goofy lot ( I like us to McHale’s Navy) but we work well together for the most part.
The problem is that I am being focused on as the in-between from the group to the rest of the company, hence making sure we follow “the rules” but still being told not to mess anything up.
Any suggestions on how I deal with it?

You have to weigh whether or not your job is worth the horse play.
I like you, and it sounds like fun working for you,
but….. unfortunately I think you’ve got to realise that the corporate suits have now got control and they are using you to enforce their boring rules.
You don’t really have much choice anymore but to either comply with the corporate stiffs or look for a nicer job in a more relaxed atmosphere.
I wish more employers were like you with a fun/relaxed attitude rather than those horrible bland robotic corporate nerds.
Good Luck!
