Do My Grandchildren Qualify For A British Passport Or Can They Work Without A Visa?
I was born in England, migrated to Australia with my parents. My children were born in Aust in 1970 & 1973. My grandchildren were born in Australia in 2001 & 2003. Can my grandchildren get a British passport or recongition in an Australian passport so that they could work in Britain without a visa?

Modern terror laws are bound to have made becoming a British Citizen more difficult, so it’s best to get the official information from the official source.
I think they will be eligible for an ancestral passport.
Ancestral passports can be carried over from parents or grandparents.
Do check with the home office, but I think they will qualify.
I’m not sure if they could do it without a visa, but I think your grandchildren would probably qualify for an Ancestry Visa, which allows them to work for up to 5 years in the UK without a work permit. And after those 5 years, if they have met the requirements, they could then apply for permanent residency, if they wanted.

they need to get a passport of the country that they were born in they will have to get Australian passport
