Whether you start with a few pieces and add on every year or start with a full setting it is a great holiday tradition. We use ours for all our special meals from Thanksgiving to New Year's Eve. Lenox has added some wonderful service pieces over the last few years as well. One of my favorites is a two bowl set with seal tight lids. The bowls are refrig, dishwaher, oven and microwave safe. The lids when on will not spill a drop and look lovely on the table. (They do lack the gold trim of the other pieces so they can be more go in the microwave, etc). Another plus is that most every department store carries it so it is easy to find and is always on sale before and after the holidays. You can spice it up with the plaid accent plates or the scenic dessert plate set - all are beautiful. I hope you enjoy them as much as we have.
