Free online is still going to cost you in shipping. Handmade-adelaide-baby.com has a great article on saving money on sewing supplies and fabric. (Under Frugal articles) I listed it below in the source.
She suggests buying flat sheets at discount stores, or even curtains or other items with lots of fabric at a thrift store. You might even pay less for this fabric than it would cost you in shipping to get ‘free’ stuff!
Freecyle is another great idea. Craigslist also has ‘trade or barter’ areas, if you have something to go in trade.
Happy Crafting!
Check yahoo groups to see if your area has a ” freecycle ” group in it. People offer up many usefull and interesting items on my group everyday,.and its all absolutely FREE!…..good luck :0)
boy, don’t I wish!!! I could use some free fabrics for my sewing classes for those less fortunate. They get to use my machines, but I wind up buying the fabrics. This site has the least expensive of any I have found and good quality. Excellent service.http://www.fashionfabricsclub.com/catalo…
